Architectural Control Committee (ACC) Request

The purpose of the request is to review the modifications homeowners would like to make to their properties. These standards are to sustain and maintain the best possible living environment for the well being of all homeowners as well as to protect property values.

Examples of Modifications that require ARB approval:

  • House painting to ensure use of approved colors.

  • Fences (new structure)

  • Significant landscaping modifications (tree removal and replacement

    of sodded lawn with plants)

  • Garage doors

  • Full roof replacement

  • Gutters

  • Paver options include redoing the entire driveways with new pavers or laying over current driveway with thin pavers. Both would need to be approved by the ACC with respect to color, style and configuration. (BYLAWS -EXHIBIT IX DRIVEWAY PAVERS.)

  • Water softener system on the side of the home

Examples of modifications that do NOT require ARB approval:

  • Resod damaged area of the lawn

  • Dead shrub replacement

  • Underground irrigation

  • Minor roof repair

  • Fence repairs

  • Minor paint touch up on the exterior of the home.

  • Replacing a fence

    *In general, all exterior changes to the home involving “structure” must be approved ARB.*
